handy when travelling in a city you don't know March 26, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought this book because when travelling there is sometimes difficult to be vegiterian. Although lonely planet is excellent travelling companion I wanted to add this book to take with me to be sure to find something to eat. The book was helpful and an exellent suppliment to other travel books.
Nice guide February 21, 2005 1 out of 2 found this review helpful
We're planning a trip europe and I was so excited to find this guide. As expected, it has listings of vegetarian friendly restarurants and markets by city but it also has some maps (hand drawn but still good), words/phrases to help order/find vegetarian food in different countries, as well as tips on good nutrition while traveling. Its a neat book, written in a very relaxed, friendly style that's fun to read/browse through. I'm so glad I found it and will certainly have it packed with me for our trip.
