1 out of 5 stars Gingrich admits to some mighty sins, but he's all about God and Faith and stuff   August 24, 2008
1 out of 5 found this review helpful

Even though Gingrich has been married three times, is known to have delivered divorce papers to his first wife when she was undergoing cancer treatment in the hospital, is reported to have a penchant for oral sex with women other than his wife, was fined $300,000 by the House Ethics Committee in 1997 for making false statements during an investigation and is widely known to have been in a lengthy extramarital affair with Anne Manning, a campaign staffer, during his second marriage while the Clinton impeachment was going on, there is no man who is better suited to advise Americans on how to rediscover God and instructing us about the role of faith in our nation's history.

5 out of 5 stars An Awesome Book   August 23, 2008
I learned a lot from this book. I appreciate Newt Gingrich writing this book. Maybe if more read this book they would realize the need for God in America.

4 out of 5 stars Highly recommend to teachers, professors & mbrs of the media   August 19, 2008
A short and concise read. Well worth the few hours. The format provides a good basis for the theme/proof of the book.

5 out of 5 stars Great Book, Great Author   August 14, 2008
I loved this book by Newt Gingrich. He is so well informed and wonderfully conservative. I read the book in 2 days. It made me want to go to Washington DC and see and read all the fabulous monuments with all the references to God. One of these days, I will do just that. Thanks Newt, keep up the good work

5 out of 5 stars A good quick read. Reveals the TRUTH about the Christian faith of the founders   August 14, 2008

Anti-God types have been trying to obscure and completely erase the fact that America was founded as a CHRISTIAN nation and on Christian principals. Newt takes the reader on a stole through the nation's capital to each monument and reveals this history through the writings of the founders themselves. A very good read you can finish if you have a few spare hours on a rainy afternoon.
