This was a helpful book. I am not a journal keeper, but if you are that is an added bonus. It was useful for planning ahead which always saves time.

5 out of 5 stars Best WDW Book!   April 17, 2008

This is the best Walt Disney World Book out there!

I will admit that I have to buy every book available when planning a trip. I need to know all of the information and make sure I hit the best spots. Well, for WDW, this is the best that there is!

I love how it is "interactive" and I can easily make notes, keep other papers in here in the folders, add stickers (yes, they have stickers and even tabs), and keep track of my plans, budget, whatever you can think of!

There are incredible tips, lots of different viewpoints, and just a perfect amount of information. The web site they compliments the book wonderfully, too.

I highly recommend this book for any WDW planners!

5 out of 5 stars Disney PassPorter 2008   April 5, 2008

This is the single best informational resource on Walt Disney World! And it doubles as a scrapbooking resource and diary for your trip! My wife and I each took one with us for our trip this year. It had all of the updated information we needed for the Disney parks, hotels and eateries. We could store our brochures, tickets and informational material gathered for later scrapbooking and we were able to keep a daily log of our activities. It helped us preserve our daily memories while helping us organize for each day too.

5 out of 5 stars Great planner / organizer and lightweight quick reference   March 24, 2008

I recently rush-ordered this book when having to plan a trip to Walt Disney World on very short notice.

Not only did this book make the planning a lot simpler and efficient, but it was also a great way for me to organize my trip once I was there, to get the most out of my time.

While I'd taken out the usual Fodor's and Frommer's guides from the library, I found them too packed with information, and it was hard to quickly find the specific information that I needed to know at any given moment.

That's where this product shined.

Light enough to easily carry in a backpack, constructed in a way that makes it easy to hold and quickly flip through, and easy to stuff additional papers inside (such as daily itineraries and notes) - the PassPorter guide was just the trick. It was a snap for me to quickly find what I needed when I needed it.

Stick a pen in the binding loops, and some sticky tabs on a few keys pages, and you're ready to go.

The kind of things that I found very useful were the quick listings of park attractions (about a paragraph long description for each attraction or ride), with simple icons and color coding, and little things like the quick reference pages, telling you basic things like how to easily get from each park / resort / dinner theater event to another in the Walt Disney World grounds. (In other words, the kind of things you want to know quickly on the spot)

Some parts were not so useful once you'd already planned your trip (for example, the whole section on accomodations was rather moot for me, since I'd already booked my hotel).

But overall - it's a nice companion to the more in-depth guides, like Fodor's and Frommer's, without the information overload.

This is the kind of book that you'll mark up as you go, checking off where you've been, and not feel bad about it.

5 out of 5 stars Must have for any WDW trip!   March 24, 2008

My fiance and I received the 2007 version of this book for our trip to WDW in August of 2007. It's absolutely indespensible for planning your trip with excellent descriptions of everything and tips for young and old alike. It also helps document your trip on a daily basis as it gives you a sort of journal to fill in the blanks and spaces to write short paragraphs about your daily activities.

We're planning on making another trip to WDW this year and have already purchased the 2008 version!
